About Us
Andirun Designs is a dynamic design firm specializing in Web Design, Graphic Design, and Interactive Media. Since 2005, Andirun Designs has provided solutions for those who need web design, graphic design, corporate identity, social media implementation, marketing collateral, e-commerce, interactive media, and illustrations. The owner, Nye Armstrong, has cultivated successful relationships with clients, printers, suppliers and employees, as well as maintaining the quality throughout all aspects of Andirun Designs.
Andirun Designs started as a play off Nye’s real name. No one could pronounce her unusual Welsh name, and so she had to sound out the syllables in a very exaggerated form. One day while helping someone understand how to say her name they thought she was saying And I Run, and the nickname stuck. The walrus is another story all together… walruses seem to be drawn to Nye much to her friend’s and family’s amusement. (Please note that Nye doesn’t work for Sea World, but designs websites from the safety of her own home.)
